In continuation of PRGMEA’s efforts to embed Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) practices in Pakistan’s textile sector, sessions have been organized, held with the National Compliance Center (NCC) and Dr. Harald Wachsmuth. Underscoring the importance of integrating OSH best practices, particularly for SMEs, which often lack formal safety mechanisms.
Promoting OSH in light of GSP+ – Factory visits to identify hotspots with respect to occupational safety and health. Advocating for Occupational Safety and Health in light of GSP+, certifications and the light of Islam. Focusing on OSH as the main agenda in the Textile Sectoral Committee under NCC, Ministry of Commerce (MOC).
